I am dating a narcissist but why is that a bad thing? What can go wrong?

There is no easy answer when it comes to dating a narcissist. On the one hand, they can be very charming and attractive – at first. On the other hand, they can be very manipulative and abusive. What can go wrong?

Here are a few potential problems that can occur when dating a narcissist:

1. You may become emotionally dependent on them.

2. They may control your thoughts and feelings to such an extent that you feel unable to think or act for yourself.

3. They may gaslight you – convincing you that what you experienced was actually just a misunderstanding or even a dream.

4. They may emotionally and/or physically abuse you.

5. You may becomeisolated and lonely – not knowing who to turn to for support or understanding.
