What are your thoughts on organ donation?
As a society, we have grown increasingly attached to our organs – whether it’s for medical reasons or simply because we think they’re cool. But what happens to all of those organs when we die?
Organ donation is a process by which someone allows their organs to be donated after they have died. This can be an incredibly generous act, as the recipient can receive a variety of life-saving organs. On the other hand, organ donation can also be altruistic – with the donor knowing that their organs will go to a good home.
Regardless of why someone chooses to donate their organs, it is an incredibly important and life-saving process. If you are ever in a situation where you are able to donate your organs, please do not hesitate – your gift could mean the difference between life and death for someone else.
