Why did Liz Truss resign from the British PM position?
Liz Truss resigned from her position as British Public Minister on Sunday, after it was revealed she had plagiarized large parts of her doctoral dissertation. The Conservative MP for South West Norfolk submitted the original work to the University of Cambridge in 2001, but it was later discovered that substantial parts of the dissertation were not her own work – they had been copied from other sources. Truss has since apologized for the “mess” she has caused, and has insisted that she will repay any money owed.
