Scroll through social media for more than a minute and you will probably see it: someone brushing with a bright violet toothpaste, then flashing a smile that looks noticeably whiter on camera. Purple toothpaste has turned into one of those trends that seems too good to be true, mostly because it is over almost as fast as it starts.
So do purple toothpastes work, or is this just another filter...
