Most people pick a paint colour in five minutes and don’t think much more about it. In Dubai, though, the colour is the easy part. The sun is harsh, there’s dust in the air most days, and the AC runs for months without a break. Walls painted in a hurry don’t stand up to all that, and it usually shows by the next summer.
